Desert Tracker (The very latest in Desert Warfare)

The Desert Tracker is the next generation VAMP. Loaded with two forward heavy machine guns and one rear gun, the DT comes ready for battle. The Desert Tracker is still light enough to maintain mobility and speed so it can out run or catch up to most enemy vehicles! And as a smart man once said, "That sure beats walking across the desert! YO JOE!!!"

I am always wanting to push the envelope and take things to the next level. So I decided to make a custom vehicle. This was a quick redo I have another total repaint in the works.

Short Fuze (Modern)

Why go head to head when you can bomb the enemy from afar? Short Fuze is always calm under fire while calculating the coordinates to fire at.

I wanted to update my original Joes while paying tribute to the classic look. This figure was based on the larger 12 inch version that was previously made  (below) and suggestion by WeaponXCustoms.

This was the result and I am quite happy:

Grunt (Greenshirt Version)

Behind every successful Army is the ground pounders! Grunt worked his way up the infantry ladder to become a squad leader.

I wanted to pay a proper tribute to a Joe that is really the backbone of the Joes. I think he will be getting a version 2 update soon, but for now here's Squad Leader Grunt.

GRUNT is the definition of an infantry man. He is a ground pounder and always calm, cool and collective under fire. These qualities led to him being promoted to lead his own squad of green shirts.

Pit Commandos and the Pit Commander

Behind every great team is a security team protecting their base and running security. It may not be the most glorious job, but it's just as important!

I wanted to create some unique Pit Commandos to beef up my security force and was happy with these quick results.

Pit Commando Commanders (PCC) are the best of the security force. When Law & Order is not there to over see the base security operations these are the soldiers that are in charge. They take their job very seriously. When off duty they are often going over security upgrades or training. The rest of the Joe team highly respect these men and women as they oversee the absolute last line of defense of the Joe's home base.

Cobra Commander -Simple Head Switch

In a constant effort to improve what has been done, I came up with this simple head switch! The comments have varied to cool to scary (the way a Cobra Commander should be!).

Repeater -Original Version (The Way It Should Be)

I'm not sure what possess Hasbro to want to want to kick me in the gut, then wad up, chew and spit out my childhood memories by turning guys into girls and white people black. I guess it can only be explained by political correctness and ethnic diversity, I hope they all get a lump of coal in there stockings!

To set the record straight I have nothing against Ethnic diversity. If you want more black (G.I.)  Joes though make a new character, don't change a current one. In this case they took Repeater a long time Gunnery Sgt. and made him black. Below you can compare the two:

So this lead me to take matters in my own hand (a thing that is becoming all too common with the ROC wave). I used the Toys R Us exclusive Troop Builder 5 Pack Footloose body, the spare Zartan head from the same pack, then the same pack's hat, gun, vest and gloves from their Repeater. The result is very close to the original.

I already have a version 2 planned with a Slayer Design Studios (formerly Tri-Gate) head. Stay tuned for updates!
